They consist of two roller chain sprockets featuring hardened and cut teeth specifically engineered to operate in conjunction with a hardened double-strand roller chain, which acts as the connecting element and allows for a certain degree of misalignment. All these components must be lubricated with grease, and they include the option of being sealed using an aluminum or plastic cover (casing). This enclosure prevents contamination and lubricant loss.
