Reusable vent with valves for indoor, outdoor and offshore use according to ATEX.
The ME-RV series are made entirely of A4 stainless steel. The maintenance interval is considerably extended by the separate valve section. The optimized design allows these adsorbents to be maintained very quickly and cost-effectively. They can be used according to the ATEX product directive 2014/34/EU in zone II 2 G / D IIC T4 or according to corrosivity class CX.
The stainless steel housing is filled with desiccant mixture ensuring effective drying of the supplied air. A 3 μm filter also cleans the sucked air. When air leaves the system, a layer of activated carbon absorbs the escaping oil mist, thus protecting the desiccant and the environment from contamination.
When the adsorber is saturated, both the desiccant and, if necessary, all other components of the internal system can be replaced at low cost.
The ME-RV silica gel filter is used for the ventilation of marine plants, as well as in the chemical industry or for the ventilation of large storage tanks. The adsorbents are available with FKM or EPDM seals and can be used in zone II 2 G / D IIC T4 according to the ATEX product directive.
